12 Stages of Healing
April 21 @ 9:15 am - 2:00 pm
Explore the full 12 Stages of Healing in one powerful workshop.
Using the power of breath, movement, energy and touch, you will work with your body and your experience. This is an opportunity to connect to your body in ways you have never done before. You will learn to recognize how your body responds to different thoughts and perceptions, deepen your connection to your body and learn about the different rhythms that influence how your body heals.
We will explore how you relate to your body and what you can do to enhance or change your internal state.
The workshop will be split into 3 sections.
In the first we will discover how you connect the best to your body. What you need to do to become more aware of your body and once we have established that we will look at how you run away and dissociate from sensations, feeling and thoughts you don’t like and how this affects you.
In the second session we will look at how you transform your state. What happens in your body to get you feeling connected, powerful and able to make change. What happens when you shift from “I can’t” to “I can”. How do you build up internal resources to make the changes you need to grow and heal.
In the third session we will explore what happens when you awaken to contribution, to love, to how you make a difference in the lives of others. We will explore what happens when you come into community with others. How do you resource contribution and how do you connect to others.
The work is based on the 12 Stages of Healing by Donny Epstein and will include extra techniques and approaches developed in the past decade .
This workshop is open to anyone who wants to increase their body awareness, their ability to become more resourceful or those wanting more personal insight into the 12 stages of healing. You do not have to be under regular NSA care to gain benefit from this day.
